MEMBERS OF THE IRIS FAMILY:

Neomarica

Neomarica Caerulea "Regina": A member of the iris family. Known also as   the Giant Walking Iris, or The Apostle Plant. Grows to at least 55", in moisture retaining soil, needs partial shade, blooms late winter/early spring. Beautiful almost Navy Blue flowers that repeat bloom on the same stalks for an extended length of time, a month or more. Do not cut off where the flowers bloomed, as more will emerge from those same places in a week or so. This photo shows the plant in bud. Ship late summer/early fall............$ 25.00 per rhizome

Neomarica Gracilis: A member of the Iris family, also known as a walking iris. Short plant to 18-24", same culture as the Reginas,  moisture retaining  soil, blooms later in the summer months with blossoms of white , blue and brown streaks toward the center of the petals. Beautiful little plant. Ship in th fall  Sept-Nov.........$ 7.00 per rhizome.

Trimezia Martininesis: A beautiful plant with tall sword like leaves that if the plant didn't bloom, just  the foliage would be worth having in you garden. Small yellow flowers that bud out like the Regina into a little triangular shape, then opens up with the longer petals hanging down and the inner petals curling up. Bloom only lasts for a day, but the plant keeps sending more plantlets out on the same stalk until you have 5-8 more blooms and the little plantlet on the stalk start falling over to the ground, where they will take root. Blooms throughout the year. Worth it's weight in gold for a garden accent!  Can ship almost any time......$7.00 per rhizome.
