Orchid's
'Blood Bath': Great for containers or garden, this late December bloomer is often called the Christmas orchid.
'Chariot of Fire': This easy-to-grow species likes medium to low light and consistent moisture. Fertilize each time you water.
'Grandifolius Alba': This easy-to-grow species likes medium to low light and consistent moisture. Fertilize each time you water.
'Joanhart': A fast growing Phaius orchid. A heavy feeder, fertilize each time you water. Blooms Fall to Spring. Sphagnum moss is the medium of choice. Available in October. E-mail for pricing
'Microburst Wild Thing Orchid': A pretty colored flower with unusual lip markings. Fast to grow and easy to grow. Fully mature in one year. Specimen size in two. Low light and moist at all times. feed well and it will grow and bloom profusely. Landscape plant in warm climates. Available in October. E-mail for pricing.
'Orchtoberfest': Easy to grow indoors and out. Low light levels outside (complete shade) and high level light indoors. Keep sphagnum moss evenly moist all the time and fertilize weekly. Phaius Tankervillea (Nun's Orchid): Blooms late winter /early spring for about a month. Beautiful burgundy/bronzy colors on the lips and and the petals have a brown color with creamy white on the reverse side. Takes a shady location outside (can also be grown as a houseplant). Requires a moisture retaining soil with fertilizing often. Mature psuedobulb sends up several stalks which can stay in bloom for over a month, reaching upwards of 3 1/2' to 4 1/2' tall. VERY IMPRESSIVE PLANT. Ship: Sept-Nov. Blooming size psuedo bulb.........$35.00
'Precious Paula': A beautiful orchid which does not take the heat too well, so it is suited only as a houseplant. Blooming size, water and fertilize well. Available in October. E-mail for pricing.
'Tropical Ice': An excellent landscape plant in warmer climates, this orchid also can be used as a houseplant.
'Ursula': Blooms usually start in fall on this fast-growing, early bloomer. It produces more flower spikes than usual on a medium-sized plant. Spikes become taller and have more flowers with age. Old foliage dies off in spring; new growth emerges and grows to a nice specimen for fall bloom.
