Spring Bulbs

These hardy heirloom bulbs prefer to be planted where they receive several hours of direct sunlight. Although they do multiply in shady areas, they tend to bloom more prolifically where they receive more sunlight.

Most are tolerant of a variety of soils, do not require a lot of fertilizer, but do appreciate friable, mulched and well draining soil. A light application of bone meal or cottonseed meal during growth would be to their liking.
